Sash Windows
Sometimes known as vertical sliders
Sliding sash windows enable you to honour the traditional look of a period home, whilst benefiting from the modern advances in glazing technology. Dating back to the 13th century, sash windows are often found in areas of conservation but they can also add excellent character to newly built homes. Their design allows for a cooling circular air flow when open.
Unlike casement windows, sash windows do not open inwards, or outwards, meaning you do not lose any space once the window is open. Instead of hinges they operate using counterbalanced weights hidden inside the frames or with a concealed spring-loaded mechanism.
Sash windows are made up of two glass panels called ‘sashes’ which move up and down on a vertical slider. Single-hung sashes have one moving panel, whilst both sashes move in a double-hung slide. Some sash windows can also be tilted open, allowing for easy maintenance/cleaning and more ventilation. Sash windows are available in traditional wood or modern uPVC.

Double & Triple Glazing
Choose from single, double or triple glazing windows. Double Glazing is the most popular choice across all of our products to create a stylish and secure home. Double Glazing is simply two panes of glass with a thin layer of colourless and odourless gas sealed between them. This provides excellent thermal insulation which keeps home warm and cosy, as well as saving you money on your energy bills! The airtight seal between the window panes also prevents condensation and moisture build-up so home wont suffer from damp and mould.
Double glazing is a versatile choice for your home that can be installed in all types of windows including casement, sash and bay windows as well as in all of our doors and our glass conservatory roofs.
